We offer unique, intentionally designed tours of Nicaragua as well as service-learning experiences and
educational travel programs for colleges and universities. Our tours include yoga trips, regional trips to
Granada and San Juan del Sur or topic-specific trips that explore themes such as environmental

Intentional Tours:

We offer you the opportunity to enjoy a uniquely intimate and personal experience of Nicaragua.  
Enjoy the best of this small country while learning and building genuine relationships with local
people, and making a contribution to the local community.  Group size is limited to twelve guests to
ensure a high-quality experience.  Through our combined experience of twelve years living and
working in Nicaragua, you have access to an abundance of experience, knowledge and cross-cultural

International Service-Learning and Educational Travel Programs   

We believe that successful service-learning is based on two essential components: 1) A commitment on
the part of the U.S. academic institution to the development of long-term partnership with an
institution in Nicaragua.  When correctly designed and managed, this commitment can lead to the
blossoming of cross-cultural professional relationships that facilitate the trust and mutual
understanding that is necessary for true collaboration and honest dialogue.  Once a solid partnership
has been established, students from your university can contribute to a long-term collaborative project
in Nicaragua that allows for real learning, sharing of resource and contributions on both sides of the
border. 2)  A substantial emphasis on the reflective component of service-learning. Challenging and
substantive reflection of both an academic and personal nature allows students to integrate the
experiential learning and/or service component of the program into their lives, their understanding of
the themselves and the world, and the subject matter at hand.

We provide your university with the cross-cultural understanding, knowledge and skill-set to help you
design and manage the successful service-learning experience you need to contribute to the education
