| Profile: Swenja Janine Schlegel Swenja Janine loves to share her passions: the ocean, the moon, massage. She loves to take time to share with others what she loves about Nicaragua and how she lives here, exploring spirituality, discovering hidden treasures, traveling to the natural wonders of Nicaragua. She loves to be close to the sea, to learn and understand how the people of Nicaragua live and think. She loves to try new things and learn things that are difficult and that make her challenge herself. Swenja Janine has worked with Soletename Tours, a tour company that offers high-end trips to Nicaragua for European and North American travelers. In addition, she ... She often attends national conferences on the topic of tourism development and promotion in Nicaragua. She played an integral role in the development and publication of Right Here, an essential travel booklet to the Corn Islands. She decided to live in Nicaragua where life is more basic - so the real basic things in life have more importance: inner healing, our connection to nature & the universe (ocean and heaven), and reaching peoples hearts. | Profile: Phoebe Haupt Cayasso Since 1998 Phoebe has been studying, living and leading trips to Nicaragua. Her trips have focused on cross-cultural, leadership and international issues of citizenship, globalization and development. In addition she has co-led led spirituality-based and academic trips to Honduras and Cuba. Phoebe majored in International Relations and African American Studies at the University of Virginia in 1999 and concentrated her studies in the areas of globalization and international development within Central America. She has developed an expertise within Central America, especially in Nicaragua. Within Wonder-Full-Tours Phoebe coordinates all service-learning and academic trips for colleges and universities. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to local elders in Nicaragua to learn about healing traditions that involve prayer and medicinal plants. She also loves holding babies, listening to stories, and dancing to reggae music.
